Meet Our Friends

This is what you do on a Friday evening when you live on the water. I could get used to this, I tell ya! In these photos you'll have the privilege to meet some big-hearted people who've become our friends. They've taken a genuine interest in our family and in Carter's progress. They've gone above and beyond to make their water front home, feel like our home. From smiles in the lobby to inquires about therapy to fun in the sun, they are good folks who've made our stay more than we ever could have imagined. When we said good-bye to Utah six weeks ago, we were just hoping to "survive" this ordeal, but to our delight, we've had a lot of good times along the way! Oh, and most importantly, they share their grandkids :)

And I don't think anyone would mind me saying..
there's a good chance we've dropped the median age to under 60!

Oh Jamie-

What a journey you've all been on! I was reading through all of your old posts, and wish I could give you a big ol' squeeze. Thanks for being so open with your thoughts and feelings-- even though you're not all "mushy" like that:) (and I do agree that ice cream, eaten with a fork straight out of the carton is divine, and can soothe even the deepest of heartaches!)

I am so happy to hear that amongst the hardships you've encountered, your trip has been peppered with good times too. And it tickles me to know that Carter has friends who understand what he's going through in a way no one else can. That must mean so much to you as his mother.

Good to see (and read) about the latest happenings in your life. You are looking fab as always, and quite young I might add!

I'll keep you in my prayers!

Much Love-

Candace,

Thanks for your kind words. I've missed your comments, but was so excited to see that you'd started blogging again. Welcome back!
